- Soil Type: Plant ‘Ruby Falls’ Weeping Redbud in well-draining, loamy soil, ideally enriched with organic matter.
- Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system; aim for about 1 inch of water per week.
- Sun Exposure: Ensure the tree receives full sun to partial shade, with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day for optimal growth.
- Spacing: Space the tree about 6 to 8 feet away from any structures or other plants to allow for its natural spreading habit.
- General Maintenance: Prune in late winter to maintain shape and remove any dead or crossing branches; mulching around the base can help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
